My Industrial Design and Technology & Society background from Carleton University shapes how I approach product design—I naturally consider how features fit within broader workflows, business contexts, and the systems people use daily.
This holistic perspective, combined with 12 years designing for 650,000+ SMBs at Constant Contact, taught me to balance user needs with technical constraints and business goals. I bridge design and engineering not just through code contributions, but by understanding how design decisions ripple through entire product ecosystems
I'm a lifelong language learner fascinated by how regional accents and dialects evolve. Thanks to creators like Erik Singer and Language Jones, I'm constantly learning about linguistic evolution across cultures.
Since 2014, I've been baking artisan bread and pizza at home, inspired by Ken Forkish's Flour, Water, Salt, Yeast. A decade and hundreds of loaves later, I'm still honing my craft—much to the delight of family, colleagues, and friends who keep asking when I'll be baking again.
Shooting 120 film with my Hasselblad 500C/M since 2016 has taught me to slow down and be present, wherever I find myself in the world.
I stream electronic music while designing (ambient, house, electronica, trip-hop, IDM, trance) and listen to vinyl when it's time to relax. My library includes artists like Billie Eilish, Jon Batiste, and Andrew Bird, alongside labels like Ninja Tune, Erased Tapes, Anjunadeep, and This Never Happened.
